Project Overview

Chace Community School is a diverse school with the objective of changing students’ lives as well as inspiring them to be the leaders of tomorrow. Chace Community School has recently undergone a project to build a new building ready for the start of term in September 2026. We had the pleasure of working with Bowmer & Kirkland, where we supplied and installed Laminate School Lockers.

For this project, we supplied 10 four-compartment laminate lockers for the school to accommodate 40 students. The lockers were manufactured with a sloping top, with the benefit of discouraging students from leaving any items on top of the lockers. These lockers are a fantastic option for many schools due to their durability and long-lasting storage. Solid grade laminate offers sturdiness in withstanding any scratches and dents, as well as an aesthetic finish. The specification for the lockers was 1950mm high, 305mm wide and 450mm deep.

School laminate lockers were manufactured with a mild steel body which was powder coated in ‘Royale’ from Helmsman standard metal RAL colour chart. The lockers were complemented with ‘Dark Blue’ laminate doors, along with infill, end panel and sloping top cladding to cover the exposed metal. Stunning Dark Blue laminate is supplied from Abet Laminati Washroom range.

Each compartment was completed with accessories, including a circular laminate recessed numbering fitted above the diamond latch lock. Diamond latch locks are an ideal choice for the education sector, allowing students to use their own padlocks while minimising the risk of lost keys.
