Temple Point in Bristol is a new iconic refurbished office building, located nearby to Temple Meads Station, with a great parking ratio on site. The building features changing rooms with shower facilities, an impressive double-height contemporary reception with concierge services, an office enhanced with floor-to-ceiling windows, elevated flooring and LED Lighting.
Our team had the pleasure of supplying and installing laminate lockers at Temple Point in August 2024. As the development continued into early 2025, Helmsman drying lockers, laminate lockers and island bench seating were specified to support the next phase of the project.
For this project, our team supplied and installed 28 two-compartment Heated Lockers and 23 laminate lockers to accommodate 125 users of the facility. In commercial offices, staff drying lockers are becoming more popular, as more people are commuting to offices, which involves walking, cycling or using public transport and as the weather is unpredictable. Staff drying lockers are being incorporated as they allow employees to feel supported with comfort, ensuring personal belongings are dry at the end of the day.
The specification of the lockers was 1800mm high, 300mm wide and 450mm deep. All the lockers were installed with seat stands, with Carbon Marine wood slats. Seat stands are fantastic for changing rooms, as they deliver seating while keeping the space open and uncluttered.
The lockers were manufactured with an aluminium body and stainless steel frame, with a perforated base and shelf to allow the heat to circulate within the compartments. The bodies were powder-coated in Ice from Helmsman metal colour chart, while the locker doors were finished in a stunning Gold Baroque Oak laminate from the standard colour chart, creating an attractive and cohesive aesthetic throughout the locker rooms.
Each compartment of the drying lockers was completed with circle numbering above the Lowe & Fletcher Nimbus lock in Black. These are great lock options as they have flexible access modes, including public and private. The locks are also reliable and low maintenance, as they are battery-operated and rated for tens of thousands of cycles per set of batteries. providing long service life and minimal maintenance needs.
Within the shower rooms, island bench seating was supplied and installed to the specified dimensions of 900mm in length, 300mm in depth, and 450mm in height. The benches were manufactured with an aluminium frame and solid grade laminate slats in a Carbon Marine Wood finish to complement the overall colour scheme.
