Helmsman Z Lockers were the focus of the recent project. Meridian Court is an 80,000 sq ft refurbished building, for the demands of a hybrid workforce, in Glasgow. For this project, we collaborated with Area Sq, providing and installing bespoke Z Lockers and a few Heated Z Lockers.

As part of this project, the Z Lockers were bespoke due to the lockers being manufactured with perforation on the top and the bottom section of the locker. The lockers were installed within alcoves, creating spacious and modern storage with functionality. With a small footprint and maximum storage, it allows users to store belongings with the new design of full-width shelves and space to hang garments.

Along with Z lockers, clients also requested a few of the Helmsman Heated Z lockers. They are a fantastic addition, allowing commuters to store damp garments and let the heated lockers do the hard work. The specifications of the Z Lockers are 1775mm high, 300mm wide and 450mm deep, whereas the Heated lockers were manufactured with dimensions of 1775mm high, 380mm wide and 40mm deep. Overall, there were 24 lockers to accommodate 48 users.

The stunning Z Lockers were manufactured with a mild steel body and frame, which was powder-coated in a non-standard colour of Anthracite Grey. The lockers were completed with smooth matte laminate doors in Terril by Formica, creating a stunning finish to the changing room.

Each compartment was completed with accessories, including circle numbering above the Lowe & Fletcher camlocks. Camlocks are a great option for a secure lock, ensuring each user that their personal belongings are safe and secure while using the facilities of the Meridian Court.

Heated Z Lockers at The Fairfax

Another successful project where our team manufactured and installed Heated Z Lockers for The Fairfax in Bristol. For this project, we collaborated with Eos Interiors, where The Fairfax is a new commercial office development, arranged over 15 floors. The thoroughly refurbished building offers 66,667 sq ft of Grade A space and has been designed to accommodate ambitious and growing businesses.

As part of this project, our team completed the locker rooms with 7 Heated Z Lockers to accommodate 14 users of the facility. Heated Z Lockers are a fantastic option for commercial offices. With their small footprint, they are excellent for storing smaller goods such as shoes, bags, and other personal possessions, while still providing a full-length space for hanging clothing. The specification of the lockers was bespoke, with 1700mm high, 328mm wide and 506mm deep.

The stunning Heated laminate lockers were manufactured with an aluminium carcass along with a stainless steel frame, which was powder coated in Pure White from the metal colour chart. The lockers were completed with Blanc Megrève laminate doors from the laminate range, along with end panels to cover the exposed ends of the locker row.

Each compartment was completed with accessories, which were the circle numbering above the Lowe & Fletcher Nimbus digital locks. Nimbus digital locks are fantastic for a wide range of sectors, as they are user-friendly, and no user would have to worry about losing physical keys, as well as being able to set time slots for each user can have access to the locker.

The Mountain Warehouse IPS Panels

The Mountain Warehouse is an outdoor clothing and equipment store for all families since 1997. They carry a curated selection of products that are from a third-party brand, but most of the products are designed and produced in-house. For this project, our team manufactured and installed 19 sets of IPS panels with flush panels, along with 3 sets of urinal IPS.

Integrated Plumbing Systems refers to a way that the plumbing services are concealed, such as the pipes and cisterns behind the panels. This not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the washrooms but also provides various benefits. Here at Helmsman, we supply, deliver and install panels from solid-grade laminate, which is a popular option due to its robustness and water resistance.

An integrated plumbing system was installed with metal frames. The colour of the flashing behind the IPS panels was in ‘Mini White’ from our laminate colour chart which pairs beautifully with the ‘Stone Oak’ IPS panels.

Helmsman Laminate Locker at Spygames

Spygames is a team based, dynamic experience that features nine different game zones that test the members physically and mentally. The challenges were created in collaboration with the CIA and Special Forces. The activities involve code-breaking, escaping laser grids and identifying deception. This 50-minute session allows teams of 2 to 5 players to participate, making it great for friends, family or colleagues seeking for active outing. The clients requested Helmsman Laminate lockers.

For this project our team manufactured and installed 22 three-compartment laminate lockers, to accommodate 66 users of the facility. The specifications of the lockers were 1800mm high, 300mm wide and 450mm deep. Laminate is a fantastic material for lockers in a high-traffic area, as it increases durability and is less likely to get dents or scratches.

The aesthetic laminate lockers were manufactured with mild steel carcass and door frame, which was powder coated in ‘Black’. The colour chosen for the laminate doors was ‘Black’ to preserve the aesthetic appeal of the room. Here at Helmsman, we also offer a large selection of colours and finishes from carbon neutral options, wood styles and neutral through to bright colours.

Each compartment was completed with Ojmar OTS Advanced locks where users open the locker via RFID key card. Ojmar OTS Advanced locks are a fantastic option for a wide range of sectors as they blend smart technology with user convenience, with contactless access by a simple tap of a card, wristband or fob, reducing the loss of keys, forgetting codes, as well as having a long battery life.

Z Lockers at Dover Street, London

43 – 48 Dover Street is a modern and sophisticated office development in the heart of glamorous Mayfair, so it was an honour for Helmsman to be asked to manufacture and install our Lockers. The modern office building provides users with a range of private offices, meeting rooms and business lounges, locker rooms and a garden roof terrace office. The building has 51,783 ft square net of commercial, retail and residential spaces.

It was great to work with The Thornton Partnership on this project. To enhance storage for the lockers the clients chose our most popular locker design, Z Lockers. Z Lockers are a fantastic choice if space optimization is the key to your design. This allows two people to store and hang their clothes in the footprint of one locker, perfect for those who cycle to work and need to change.

The specification of the Lockers was tailored to suit the environment with measurements of 1650mm high, 300mm wide and 450mm deep, making them bespoke lockers. Clients requested stands, to have a bespoke height of 450mm, with adjustable feet, to be tailored to align with the benches in front of the lockers.

Z Lockers were manufactured from an aluminium body and a stainless-steel frame, which was powder coated in a bespoke metal colour of ‘Grey Brown’, with a carbon neutral laminate door in the colour ‘Country Oak’. These materials are designed to withstand a wet environment. All the lockers were completed with Lowe and Fletcher Nimbus in ‘Black’. It is the perfect choice as it keeps the changing room looking sleek and stylish.

One of our most popular products at Helmsman is our Heated Lockers. These innovative lockers have a range of uses, including storing belongings and drying commuter clothes in modern commercial offices, spa washrooms, or changing rooms.

As part of the new building, we worked alongside GTA Interior on the latest project including our Heated Z Lockers at Napier House in the heart of Brighton. Napier House is one of four commercial buildings with meeting rooms, and communal spaces.

 For this project, we provided 15 wet specification Heated Z Lockers for the drying room. The specifications of the lockers were 1800mm high, 300mm wide and 450mm deep. Heated Z Lockers were installed on stands, which are used to store the tube heaters, allowing the heat to perforate through the lockers.

The stunning Laminate Z Lockers were manufactured with an aluminium body, and stainless steel door frame, which was powder coated in ‘Black’ from the Helmsman metal colour chart. Laminate doors were in ‘Noyer Chesterfield’ by Polyrey. We offer a wide selection of colours and finishes, from bright colours, and wood effect styles to carbon-neutral options.

Drying Z lockers were completed with Helmsman camlocks. Camlocks are a great choice of locks as they ensure each user’s personal belongings are secure and safe whilst using the facility. We also work with a variety of lock suppliers, allowing us to offer a large selection of locks, from combination locks to digital locks as well as RFID locks.

It was great working alongside GTA Interiors on this project and looking forward to some more exciting projects in the future.

Heated z locker

Four New Bailey is a newly refurbished office space and retail destination along the River Irwell in Salford. The building provides over 175,000 square feet of lettable workspace along with a rooftop terrace where they can enjoy the beautiful views across the city.

As part of the refurbishment of the building, we worked alongside J Carey Design to manufacture and install lockers with a seat stand for users to store personal belongings in. As part of the project, we provided 24 wet specification Heated Z Lockers for the changing rooms. The specifications of the Z Lockers were 1800mm high, 450mm wide and 450mm deep.

The stunning Laminate Z Lockers were manufactured with an aluminium body, and stainless steel door frame powder coated in standard colour chart ‘Black’ and laminate doors in ‘Sumatra Teak’ from our colour chart. At Helmsman we offer a wide selection of colours and finishes, from wood effects to bright colours.

Heated Z Lockers were completed with seat stands allowing the users to sit down when using the facilities. The frames of the seat stands were painted in RAL colour Black, with seat slat, cladding and end panels in ‘Sumatra Teak’ to match the locker doors to maintain a sleek and aesthetic appeal.

The locks chosen for the heated z locker, was the Lowe & Fletcher Nimbus digital combination locks. These are fantastic choices for private or public use, assuring the users that their belongings are safe and secure.

Fiducia Interiors is a design and build fit-out firm boasting two decades of industry experience. The company has a team with wealth and talent and specializes in delivering exceptional projects across a variety of sectors, across commercial, hospitality and residential areas.

As part of a refurbished commercial building, Northgate House, in Milton Keynes, we worked closely with the team at Fiducia to manufacture and install Helmsman Heated Z Lockers with seat stands for the users to store personal belongings, additionally 88 units of IPS Duct Panels, wall-to-floor bench seatings and Inline Cubicles. All the products are suitable for an environment with high humidity since they have a wet specification.

For this project, we have provided 20 Z lockers to accommodate 40 users. The two-compartment Z-shaped option, allows two people to store their belongings in the footprint of one locker. The specification of the 20 lots of Heated Z Lockers were 1775mm high, 300mm wide, and 450mm deep. The Z Lockers were installed with seat stands with ash hardwood slats and adjustable feet, where the customers can alter the stands when the floor is uneven.

The gorgeous Z Lockers had an aluminium carcass, powder coated in Black’ from our standard colour chart., with laminate doors in the beautiful colour of ‘Washed Oak’ from the carbon neutral colour chart to match the inline cubicles and IPS duct panel. Carbon-neutral laminate is a fantastic option when it comes to being more sustainable for the environment and provides a lasting finish.

The Z Lockers were completed with engraved doors and Ojmar OCS pro which gives a modern finish, as well as a secure lock assuring the users their personal belongings are safe and secure. This is a fantastic choice of locks as they have many advantages for office scenery and many more sectors.

Bespoke Laminate Lockers at 25 Tavistock Place

25 Tavistock Place is undergoing a refurbishment, providing a modern workspaces and offices. The new refurbed building is located next to the Kings Cross underground station as well as near shops and restaurants.

For this project, we worked alongside B W Interiors to manufacture and install the bespoke laminate lockers, on stands, for employees and users of the offices. Our team provided 25 bespoke three-compartment laminate lockers and 4 full-length lockers, suitable for a dry environment. The specification of three compartment lockers was 1800mm high, 446mm wide and 450mm deep. Whereas the specification of the full-length lockers was 1800mm high, 600mm wide and 600mm deep, with additional shelves creating a 4-compartment internal split in each locker.

The gorgeous laminate lockers were manufactured with a mild steel carcass and door frame and laminate door from our colour chart. The colour chosen for the lockers were ‘Mini White’ which creates a simple but stylish locker room. Here at Helmsman, we also offer a large selection of colours and finishes from carbon neutral options, wood affect styles and through to bright colours.

Each compartment was completed with circle laminate numbering and fitted with a Lowe & Fletcher camlocks, which is a great option for a secure lock, assuring each user that their personal belongings are safe and secure whilst using the facilities of the Tavistock Place.

Temple Point Locker Project

Temple Point is an iconic office building in Bristol that has undergone renovations, where each floor has 16,500 sq ft of office space. The offices are enhanced with floor-to-ceiling windows, elevated flooring and LED Lighting. it also features a built shower and locker room, where users can store personal belongings as well as use the utilities.

Our team manufactured and installed 5 four-compartment heavy-duty lockers, to accommodate 20 users. Heavy-duty lockers, also known as Laminate Lockers, provide increased durability, making the material less likely to get dents or scratches.

The specifications of the lockers are bespoken to suit the client’s project. As a manufacturing company, we can manufacture lockers with different dimensions to our standard sizes to suit your project. The dimensions were 1665mm high, 380mm wide plus 4mm rivets and 450mm deep.

Heavy-duty lockers at Temple Point were manufactured with mild steel carcasses and frames.  The laminate doors were in ‘Ice White’ from the Helmsman Laminate colour range, whereas the body of the lockers was powder coated in ‘Signal White’ from Helmsman standard metal colour chart.

The lockers were finished with vinyl numbering above the KitLock 1000 combination lock in Black to create a visual colour range within the locker room. KitLock 1000 combination lock is an excellent choice of locks as it provides a secure locking system for a public function as well as private.

Additionally, our team also manufactured and installed 5 two compartment metal lockers, to accommodate 10 people. The specification was 1800mm high, 450mm wide and 450mm deep. The carcass of the metal lockers was powder-coated in ‘Ice’ whereas the doors were powder-coated in ‘Black’, both colours from Helmsman’s colour chart.

The metal lockers were completed with Helmsman standard cam locks, which are another great locking system, allowing the users to be at peace of mind that their belongings are safe during the day.
