New Cringleford Sports Pavilion and nursery began work in start of October 2023 and is set to be completed and open in August this year. The Jubilee Centre includes a community sports hall with integrated children’s nursery, new sports pitches, and a multi-use hall with two badminton courts.
Helmsman had the pleasure of working alongside Pentaco Construction for the project for Cringleford Sports Pavilion. As part of a new Pavillion, our team manufactured, delivered and installed bespoke leisure lockers, leisure cubicles, bench seating, IPS and vanity units.
For this project our team manufactured and installed a range of one-compartment, two- compartment and three-compartment leisure lockers with seat stands. Seat stands are a great addition to lockers as they allow leisure users to sit down when needing to change shoes than having to balance.
These lockers have specifically been designed to provide secure storage for a leisure user in a wet environment such as changing rooms. The colour of doors were in multiple range of ‘Graphite, Elegant Grey, Atoll and Sky’ creating a beautiful colour contrast. The laminate range for the leisure lockers were selected from the carbon-neutral range, providing a lasting finish. The lockers were completed with coin return free use lock and laminate number plates and discs.
The fully framed cubicles had been installed in between the restrooms and the changing areas. The colour of the cubicle doors was in the colour ‘Atoll and Sky’ as well as for the kid’s cubicle doors were ‘Tropical’. The fully framed leisure cubicles are made of aluminium and optional feature to have an anti-peep feature that prevents intrusion. They are also impact, scratch, and abrasion resistant, with no exposed mechanical fixings.
Several island benches were fitting in the changing rooms, with hook bar. These were all perfect for the wet environment and had a double coated ash hardwood. Additionally, we provided with matched vanity units, panels and timber frames for the IPS to match the lockers and cubicle
