Rainham Leisure Centre is designed specifically to help everyone in their local community to enjoy being active. The leisure Centre provides its customers with a variety of facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, group exercise studio, and an outdoor children’s play area.

Here at Helmsman, our team manufactured and installed 8 two-compartment and 34 three-equal compartment Leisure lockers with specifications of 1800mm high, 300mm wide, and 500mm deep. The laminate locker doors and the end panel are made from Formica ‘Elegant Oak’. The leisure lockers were completed with oval laminated number plates on the top with Omjar coin return lock with grey wriststrap, which is a great accessory for leisure since it is dependable and gives the users peace of mind regarding the security of their possessions as they have the key on the wriststrap.

Other products on this project included vanity units and IPS were made with the same laminate colour from Formica ‘Elegant Oak’ to maintain the aesthetic design. The cubicle doors and dividers were in the shade of Storm Grey and the cubicle fasci and end partition were in the colour ‘Tropical Blue’. The cubicles were finished with bench seatings within each cubicle in the shade of ‘Oak’. Additionally, the cubicles were requested by the client to have anti-peep which is made out of alluminium as its the material for the leisures.

Our leisure lockers and cubicles are designed for environments with high moisture and exposure to chlorine, as they are designed to not rust due to these factors.

Coleraine Leisure Centre opened in 1981 following the refurbishment and extension of the existing swimming pool on the site, which had been operational since 1969. Coleraine Leisure Centre offers its consumers a unique range of facilities and activities ranging from swimming to classes to fitness and health suites.

Here at Helmsman, we manufactured and installed 10 two-compartment Heavy-duty Leisure lockers. The specification of the lockers was 1775mm high, 300mm wide, and 450mm deep. The body of the lockers was in our standard shade of ‘Ice’ whereas the doors were powder coated in the shade ‘Rosenheim Elm’ which is a wood effect, which gives a modern and aesthetic look.

The lockers were completed with oval laminated number plates and a coin return lock is a popular option of lock for locker rooms in leisure centres. Lowe & Fletcher £1 coin return locks with wrist straps were selected for this project because they are ideal for a swimming pool environment as they can keep the keys safe while the client uses the facilities.

Our leisure lockers are perfect for environments with high moisture and humidity as well as chlorine exposure as they have been designed with those factors in consideration.
