Grimsby Institute offers a range of Further and Higher Education courses, including apprenticeships, business training, and community provision, among many other options. Higher education provides an exceptional range of courses, all while aiming to do so in a high-quality environment, delivering an outstanding outcome for every student. For this project, our team manufactured and installed laminate lockers and bench seating at Grimsby Institute.

For this project, our clients requested a bespoke laminate locker with a wall island bench seating and hook bars installed on the back of the lockers, as well as installed wall-to-floor. The specifications of the lockers were 2100mm high, 600mm wide and 300mm deep, as well as another bespoke measurement of 2150mm high, 600mm wide and 450mm deep.

The laminate lockers were supplied with a sloping top, which is an excellent addition to the lockers as it prevents the growth of dirt and dust, also reducing the storage of items on the top. Sloping tops were manufactured from mild steel with laminate over the top in ‘China Blue’ for aesthetic appearance.

Bespoke laminate lockers at Grimsby Institute were manufactured with a mild steel body and door frame which was powder coated in ‘Ice’ from our standard metal colour chart, with a range of stunning hues for the laminate doors, which were ‘Primary Blue, Graphite Grey and China Blue’ from our laminate colour chart.

Each compartment was completed with an oval laminated number plate in the centre position at the top of the door, along with an Ojmar £1 coin return lock. Ojmar locks are a fantastic option providing a secure lock on each compartment, assuring each user’s personal belongings are safe.
