Coleraine Leisure Centre opened in 1981 following the refurbishment and extension of the existing swimming pool on the site, which had been operational since 1969. Coleraine Leisure Centre offers its consumers a unique range of facilities and activities ranging from swimming to classes to fitness and health suites.

Here at Helmsman, we manufactured and installed 10 two-compartment Heavy-duty Leisure lockers. The specification of the lockers was 1775mm high, 300mm wide, and 450mm deep. The body of the lockers was in our standard shade of ‘Ice’ whereas the doors were powder coated in the shade ‘Rosenheim Elm’ which is a wood effect, which gives a modern and aesthetic look.

The lockers were completed with oval laminated number plates and a coin return lock is a popular option of lock for locker rooms in leisure centres. Lowe & Fletcher £1 coin return locks with wrist straps were selected for this project because they are ideal for a swimming pool environment as they can keep the keys safe while the client uses the facilities.

Our leisure lockers are perfect for environments with high moisture and humidity as well as chlorine exposure as they have been designed with those factors in consideration.
