At Maldron Hotel is a newly built hotel, close to the waterfront in Brighton, within minutes of the city’s main attractions. The Maldron Hotel provides customers with a bar, restaurant, gym and conference rooms.

As part of the new hotel, we worked alongside CField Constructions, which is a family-owned company that provides construction services to both public and private apartments in a variety of sectors based in the UK and Ireland.

For this project, our team designed and installed 44 bespoke 2-compartment Laminate lockers, to accommodate 88 users, as well as our team manufactured and installed 13 cantilever seat stands for the lockers.  The cantilever seat stands allow the users to sit down if they have to change their shoes rather than balance. The specification of the lockers was 1800mm high, 300mm wide with 1mm rivets and 450mm deep.

The vibrant laminate lockers were manufactured with mild steel carcass and frame with laminate doors in ‘Tropical’ from our carbon neutral colour chart, which is a fantastic option as it is more sustainable towards the environment. The body of the lockers was powder-coated in ‘Black’ from our metal colour chart, which creates an appealing area with a dark shade and bright colours doors. The lockers were installed with end panels in matching laminate to the project to be aesthetically pleasing.

The lockers were completed with oval laminated number plates and cam locks, creating easy access for the users to store personal belongings whilst using the facilities
