Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for boys is an all-boys school with the vision to be the ‘best selective boys’ school in West Kent. The school’s culture of all-round excellence permeates its community to empower students to discover, develop and realize their potential. Our team at Helmsman installed some brand-new metal school lockers at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School at the start of the summer holiday.

The school requested metal lockers, with 3 compartments and without stands.  Metal lockers are a fantastic option for schools, as the lockers are available in a variety of compartments, colours and sizes. They are also budget-friendly, being the cheapest of our locker ranges.

Our team manufactured 34 three-compartment metal lockers for the project, with our standard sizing of 1775mm high, 300mm wide and 450mm deep. As we manufacture all our products in-house, we can provide bespoke options tailored to your school.

The bodies of the metal lockers were powder coated with our standard colour of ‘Ice’ whereas the doors were powder coated in ‘Royale’ from our colour chart. The lockers were installed within an alcove, which deters students from piling items on top of the lockers and stops clutter and rubbish collecting. The school metal lockers were completed with cam locks, a simple but effective lock option for schools, which also come with master key options.
