Greene King is a leading pub and brewing company with a proud heritage. Greene King started as a small company back in 1799, based in Bury St Edmunds, down the road from Helmsman Storage Solutions. Greene King also operates the main business sectors; retail where they manage pubs, pub partners for tenants and leased pubs, and brewing of cask ales and premium ale brewing.

For this project, our team manufactured and installed 100 two-compartment bespoke metal lockers to accommodate 200 employees. The specification of the essential metal lockers was 1774mm high, 450mm wide and 450mm deep. The client requested for the lockers to be manufactured with a shelf 1/3 up from the bottom of the compartment.

The carcass of metal lockers was powder coated in ‘Ice’ as standard from metal colour charts, whereas for the locker doors, the customers requested for the doors to be powder coated in ‘Forest Green’ which is a known brand colour of Greene King – as the colour associated with nature, tradition and heritage which aligns with the company’s long history in the industry of brewing ales and running pubs.

The metal lockers were fitted with camlocks, which are a great option for locks since they assure users that their personal possessions are safe and secure during working hours. The laminated number plates were used to finish the metal lockers.

It was great working alongside Greene King to manufacture and install essential metal lockers for their warehouse.
