We worked alongside Flexible Business Environments, who are a long-established office interiors and furniture solutions, with over 100 years of industry experience.

Here at Helmsman, our team manufactured and installed 78 Z Lockers to accommodate 156 employees. Z lockers were manufactured with aluminium bodies and solid-grade laminate doors which are designed for wet environment that has humidity such as changing rooms

The specification of the 78 bespoke Laminate Z Lockers was 1650mm high, 384mm wide, and 450mm deep. Laminate Z Locker was installed with seat stands allowing the employees to sit whilst changing shoes rather than having to balance whilst standing. Sloping tops were added to Z Lockers, which is a great feature as it keeps dust from building up and prevents anything from being stored on top of the lockers. Furthermore, bench seating was requested for in  ‘Country Oak’ for a dry area that is perfect for an atmosphere free of moisture and humidity.

Our customers requested the laminate doors to be in ‘Country Oak’ whereas the carcass of the lockers was powder coated in ‘Black’ in the Helmsman colour range. The seats were Helmsman Ash Hardwood, and the stands were powder coated in ‘Black’ to blend with the lockers. Bespoke laminate Z lockers were finished with oval laminated number plates and Camlocks are an excellent choice as it assures the employees that their personal belongings are safe and secure.

Helmsman Z Lockers are a fantastic choice of lockers as their modern, inventive, and stylish form accommodates two users to store inside the footprint of one locker. We also provide Heated Z Lockers, for employees who commute to work and need to dry garments by the end of the day, just to hang up the damp clothes inside the lockers by the end of the day the Heated Z Lockers have done the job by the end of the day.
