BAE Systems is a centre for aircraft engineering. The company designs, engineers and manufactures some of the world’s most advanced military aircraft, and technology-led defence and security solutions. Throughout this project, we worked alongside Overbury.

As part of the project, working alongside Overbury, we manufactured, delivered and installed Drying Lockers also known as Heated Z Lockers, for employees to store personal belongings in. We provided 22 wet-specification Heated Z Lockers for the locker room.

The gorgeous Heated Z Lockers were manufactured with aluminium carcass, stainless steel door frame, which was powder coated in standard colour ‘Black’ and laminate doors in ‘English Oak’ from Helmsman Carbon-neutral colour chart. The carbon-neutral laminate is fantastic as they are durable, moisture resistant, easy to clean and antibacterial, making it ideal for changing rooms and locker rooms.

Z Lockers were completed with circle laminate numbering above the camlocks. Camlocks are a great choice of locks, as a standard at Helmsman camlocks with 2 keys as well as the locks assure each user that their personal belongings are secure and safe whilst being at work.

Heated Z Lockers are fantastic lockers for commuters and employees who require their damp clothes to dry before the end of the working day. The lockers are perforated to allow the warm air to circulate inside the lockers, they also have an eco-friendly heated system, making them perfect.
