Bespoke Z Lockers at Greenmarket

Greenmarket is a new build of a new built landmark development located at Dundee Waterfront. This is suitable for a variety of retail and leisure uses, along with BT plc up to 1000 staff.

Our team at Helmsman manufactured and installed 49 two-compartment bespoke Z lockers, which is a wet specification as they are ideal for environments where it is humid, our aluminium & stainless-steel body with solid grade laminate is a perfect choice. The bespoke Z lockers were requested to have an internal self and fully perforated base which allows airflow through the lockers.

The laminate Z lockers were installed with stands, 1 nest of 1, 2 nest of 2, and 14 nest of 3. The specification of the stand was 461mm high overall, 298mm wide, and 450mm deep with 1m rivets,

The body of the lockers was powder coated in the shade ‘Black’. The laminate doors were in the colour of ‘English Oak’ Laminate. Bespoke Z lockers were completed with a number disc in black and white above the Lowe & Fletcher Nimbus in Black. Nimbus is an excellent choice of lock as it assures the users feel secure that their personal belongings are all safe, as well as Nimbus can be in a public or private user mode, which means they can be set up for day use or permanently with one code.

Our Z lockers are a fantastic choice as it allow two people to store their belongings in the footprint of one locker, the design of this locker is modern, innovative, and stylish. Additionally, users would be able to hang their clothes in a taller section of the locker, which reduces the risk of wrinkling.

Space Industries was established in 1986. They offer a range of construction services from planning to design and construction of residential and commercial projects, with specialism in the design and installation of mezzanine floors, cleanrooms, and office interiors.

Our team at Helmsman manufactured and installed 9 full-length vedette lockers. The specification of the vedette lockers was 1775mm high, 300 wide, and 450 deep. The metal lockers were in a wet spec which is ideal for an environment that has high humidity. The body of a vedette locker was stainless steel and aluminium which was powder coated in our standard shade of ‘Ice’, whereas the zinc plated doors had a special colour change, in shades ‘Blue’ and ‘Orange’ which are not our standard options.

Clients requested the metal lockers to be finished with Camlocks. Camlocks are a great locking system, as it is highly reliable for the users to ensure that their personal items are secured.

The metal lockers were finished with stands. The specifications of the stands were 150mm high, 300 wide, and 450 deep. The stands are usually requested for many reasons such as lifting the lockers off the floor, making it easier to clean, and there is less dust. Additionally, the metal lockers were completed with sloping tops. Sloping tops are an excellent addition as they prevent the growth of dust and dirt.

The locker rooms are an ideal space for staff. We are pleased with the overall result. It was a great project working alongside Space Industries Limited.

With more than 170 years of expertise, McLaughlin & Harvey is a privately held construction and civil engineering company. The company, which was established in 1853 and is currently active in the UK and Ireland, employs over 800 people and has offices in Belfast, Glasgow, London, Birmingham, and Bristol.

Our team manufactured and installed 25 three-compartment Laminate Lockers, in our wet spec which helps the material not to rust, peel, or crack under humidity. The specifications of the laminate lockers were 1800mm high, 278mm wide, and 450mm deep. The body of the lockers was powder coated in the shade of ice’ whereas the laminate doors and end panels were in beautiful colour of ‘English Oak’. Laminate lockers are an excellent choice when it comes to commercial office lockers as they allow employees to store personal belongings in a secure area.

The Solid-grade Laminate lockers were completed with vinyl numbers above the locks which were the Diamond Hasp locks, for users to use their own padlocks. It is a great choice as the users will be assured that their personal belongings are safe within the locker.

Doug Philips Ltd has a multi-disciplined background within the construction industry, with directors being within the business for over 15 years. Doug Phillips provides a full range of services from initial cost plan advice and working with the client to achieve value engineering to off-site design development and the subsequent management of the Project through to handover.

Here at Helmsman, our team manufactured and installed 30 two-compartment solid-grade laminate lockers. The specification of the lockers was 1800mm high, 300mm wide, and 450mm deep. The clients requested for the two-compartment lockers to be manufactured with an internal shelf and angled shoe tray within the lockers. Additionally, all the lockers were to be perforated base which allows airflow into and out of the lockers.

The body of the lockers was powder coated in ‘Black’ which is from our standard colours, whereas the laminate doors are in colour ‘Artic White’, which is a beautiful colour providing an aesthetic and organised area. The laminate lockers were completed with vinyl numbering as well as Lowe & Fletchers Nimbus combination lock in Black. This is a fantastic choice for locks as it can be set up to be used daily by new users to have one permanent code for one user only. As well as ensuring the users that their lockers are secured well with their personal items.

Along with the lockers, we fabricated seat stands with the measurements at 300mm wide and 450 deep. The stands were powder-coated in ‘Black’ to match and blend with the body of the laminate lockers. Whereas the seating was in our standard slats of ‘Ash Hardwood’. It is a great addition to lockers as the users can sit down and then balance when they are changing their shoes.

We worked alongside Eos Interior Ltd, and our team manufactured and installed 34 Z lockers with bench seating. The Laminate Z lockers were wet specification which is ideal for environments that have humidity. The measurements of the Z lockers were 1800mm high, 300mm wide, and 450mm deep, along with the seat stands with the measurements of 300mm by 450mm.

Clients requested for the Z locker doors to be in the shade ‘Artic White’. This is a great choice for a commercial office locker as it creates a modern and aesthetic look as well as allows two people to store their belongings in the footprint of one locker. Laminate Z lockers were finished with seating in the shade of ‘Washed Oak’ by BioCarbon Laminates, which allows the users to sit rather than balance when changing their shoes. The lockers were completed with a Hasp lock, which is for users to use their individual padlock, which is beneficial as the users can be at peace of mind that their personal belongings are safe.

Commercial office lockers are a fantastic choice as they can maintain organisation by reducing desk-based storage, which would be able to have more space and tidiness whilst being at work. Additionally, it reduces distraction as their valuable items are secure within the office lockers.
