25 Tavistock Place is undergoing a refurbishment, providing a modern workspaces and offices. The new refurbed building is located next to the Kings Cross underground station as well as near shops and restaurants.

For this project, we worked alongside B W Interiors to manufacture and install the bespoke laminate lockers, on stands, for employees and users of the offices. Our team provided 25 bespoke three-compartment laminate lockers and 4 full-length lockers, suitable for a dry environment. The specification of three compartment lockers was 1800mm high, 446mm wide and 450mm deep. Whereas the specification of the full-length lockers was 1800mm high, 600mm wide and 600mm deep, with additional shelves creating a 4-compartment internal split in each locker.

The gorgeous laminate lockers were manufactured with a mild steel carcass and door frame and laminate door from our colour chart. The colour chosen for the lockers were ‘Mini White’ which creates a simple but stylish locker room. Here at Helmsman, we also offer a large selection of colours and finishes from carbon neutral options, wood affect styles and through to bright colours.

Each compartment was completed with circle laminate numbering and fitted with a Lowe & Fletcher camlocks, which is a great option for a secure lock, assuring each user that their personal belongings are safe and secure whilst using the facilities of the Tavistock Place.

Temple Point Locker Project

Temple Point is an iconic office building in Bristol that has undergone renovations, where each floor has 16,500 sq ft of office space. The offices are enhanced with floor-to-ceiling windows, elevated flooring and LED Lighting. it also features a built shower and locker room, where users can store personal belongings as well as use the utilities.

Our team manufactured and installed 5 four-compartment heavy-duty lockers, to accommodate 20 users. Heavy-duty lockers, also known as Laminate Lockers, provide increased durability, making the material less likely to get dents or scratches.

The specifications of the lockers are bespoken to suit the client’s project. As a manufacturing company, we can manufacture lockers with different dimensions to our standard sizes to suit your project. The dimensions were 1665mm high, 380mm wide plus 4mm rivets and 450mm deep.

Heavy-duty lockers at Temple Point were manufactured with mild steel carcasses and frames. The laminate doors were in ‘Ice White’ from the Helmsman Laminate colour range, whereas the body of the lockers was powder coated in ‘Signal White’ from Helmsman standard metal colour chart.

The lockers were finished with vinyl numbering above the KitLock 1000 combination lock in Black to create a visual colour range within the locker room. KitLock 1000 combination lock is an excellent choice of locks as it provides a secure locking system for a public function as well as private.

Additionally, our team also manufactured and installed 5 two compartment metal lockers, to accommodate 10 people. The specification was 1800mm high, 450mm wide and 450mm deep. The carcass of the metal lockers was powder-coated in ‘Ice’ whereas the doors were powder-coated in ‘Black’, both colours from Helmsman’s colour chart.

The metal lockers were completed with Helmsman standard cam locks, which are another great locking system, allowing the users to be at peace of mind that their belongings are safe during the day.

Heated Z Lockers at The Pattern Shop

Over the past two years, The Pattern Shop has undergone meticulous restoration to provide stunning and sustainable office space. The structure of the building provides more than 3,000 square metres of adaptable office space with southerly views across the River Tyne.

We have been working alongside Workwell Furniture to manufacture and install Heated Z Lockers for users to store personal belongings and allow commuters to dry damp garments.

Throughout this project, our team provided and installed 6 heated Z lockers to accommodate 12 users. Z-shaped lockers are an excellent choice if space optimization is key to your design. These lockers have a small footprint but maximised internal space. They can comfortably hold large personal items as well as hanging items just as clothes. The specifications of the Z Lockers were 1775mm high, 350mm wide and 450mm deep with perforation, to allow the air to flow around the lockers.

The stunning Z Lockers were manufactured with an aluminium carcass, and stainless steel frame, suitable for environments with high humidity. The laminate was in beautiful ‘Pleated Teak’ from the Helmsman laminate colour chart. The carcasses of the lockers were powder coated in the Helmsman metal colour range ‘Smoke’, to create an aesthetic locker. Heated Z Lockers were finished with diamond latch and black laminate number plates, an aesthetically pleasing pairing.

Clarendon Road is a mixed-use building located in London. It’s a beautiful and sustainable design being provided for Londoners by the end of 2024. The building has 150,000 square feet of office space, a gymnasium and 168 homes. Our team worked closely with Regal London which is one of the top residential-led mixed-use developers in London, designing stunning and motivating environments that range from homes to offices, student accommodation to retirement communities, and all the areas in between.

As part of the new building, our team manufactured and installed 49 two-compartment and 17 three-compartment laminate lockers, to accommodate 149 users. The laminate lockers were a wet spec, which is suitable for an environment with high humidity. Additionally, a bench seats was also requested by the client.

The specifications of the two-compartment lockers were 1500mm high, 298mm wide with 1mm rivets and 450 deep. The laminate lockers were installed with seat stands, with 425mm of height added to the lockers. The three-compartment laminate lockers were 1800mm high, 298mm wide with 1mm rivets and 450mm deep. The bespoke laminate lockers were completed with vinyl numbering and camlocks, which is an excellent choice of lockers assuring each user that their personal belongings are secure and safe.

Beautiful laminate lockers were manufactured with aluminium bodies, and stainless steel frames with laminate doors in ‘Mountain Oak’. The carcasses of the lockers were powder coated in our standard colour range in ‘Black’. The cantilevered seat slats were Ash Hardwood, creating an aesthetic atmosphere.

It was great working alongside Regal London on this project and we are looking forward to seeing Clarendon Road when it is completed.
